UN Sahel Envoy consults with Mauritanian leaders on Mali, terrorism, environment

Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Sahel and SRSG for West Africa on joint visit to sub-region

Dakar, 13 February 2013 - The Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for the Sahel, Mr. Romano Prodi, and the Secretary-General’s Special Representative for West Africa, Mr. Said Djinnit, will begin a 3-day joint visit to the sub-region on Wednesday, 13 February.
