Fermeture de l’UNOWA

Le Bureau des Nations Unies pour l’Afrique de l’Ouest (UNOWA) a été créé en janvier 2002 pour promouvoir la stabilité politique dans la région. Son mandat a pris fin en janvier 2016, lorsqu’il a fusionné avec le Bureau de l’Envoyé spécial pour le Sahel (OSES) pour former le Bureau des Nations Unies pour l’Afrique de l’Ouest et le Sahel (UNOWAS).
