Said Djinnit, a participé aujourd’hui à la 3e réunion ministérielle sur le renforcement de la coopération sécuritaire et l’opérationnalisation de l’architecture africaine de paix et de sécurité dans la région sahélo-saharienne, à Niamey, au Niger.
18 Feb 2014 - Dakar, 18 February 2014 - Mr. Said Djinnit, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for West Africa, was received in audience in Koulouba - Bamako today by the President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita of Mali with whom he exchanged views on the situation in the Sahel and West Africa. The meeting was held in the presence of Mr. Albert Koenders, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General in Mali.
17 Feb 2014 - Dakar, 17 February 2014 - The United Nations Office for West Africa (UNOWA ), organized today a handover meeting on the United Nations Integrated Strategy. The meeting marked the end of the mandate of the United Nations Secretary- General’s Special Envoy for the Sahel, Romano Prodi, who handed over his responsibilities to the United Nations system in West Africa.
