Communique adopted at the twenty-eighth meeting of the Cameroon-Nigeria Mixed Commission

Abuja, 23 July 2011, The Cameroon-Nigeria Mixed Commission established pursuant to the Joint Communiqué adopted at the Summit Meeting between His Excellency Paul Biya, President of the Republic of Cameroon and His Excellency Olusegun Obasanjo, the then President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, which took place in Geneva on 15 November 2002, in the presence of His Excellency Kofi Annan, then Secretary General of the United Nations, held its Twenty-Eight Ordinary Meeting in Abuja from 22 to 23 July 2011. His Excellency Ambassador Saïd Djinnit, Special Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations, chaired the deliberations of the Mixed Commission. His Excellency Amadou Ali, Vice-Prime Minister of Cameroon, and Prince Bola Ajibola, CFR, of Nigeria led the delegations of Cameroon and Nigeria, respectively.
