Dakar, Senegal – The Special Representative of the Secretary General and Head of the United Nations Office for West Africa (UNOWA), Mr. Mohamed Ibn Chambas, is encouraged by the initial measures taken by stakeholders in Guinea and calls on them to redouble their efforts to reach an agreement that will enable the organization of peaceful, credible, inclusive and transparent elections.
